Our Sixth Form is extremely important to us here at Thurstable. It is the time when our pupils become our students, and our partners in the business of learning. At Thurstable you will be listened to, valued and respected. We will make sure that you get the balance of support and
challenge that you need. We will also give you every opportunity to lead both within the Sixth Form and in the main school. Your Sixth Form years are a key part of your life and, if you do decide to spend them at Thurstable, I look forward to working with you.

It has never been a better time to choose to continue in education and training in order to gain the skills and experience you need to embark on the career you desire. Choosing to continue your education in the Sixth Form will give you the chance to pursue subjects which interest you at a higher level. As a Sixth Form student we want you to be able to realise your academic potential, whilst developing the personal and social skills which will equip you for life beyond education. Both tutor groups and subject classes remain small and, as a result, staff are able to provide the personalise learning students need to succeed.
