We would like to share our thoughts about the context in which we see The Sports Academy’s Golf Programme.

Careers

More and more young men and women see professional golf as a springboard to success. Opportunities for a career within the sport have increased in recent years, but at the highest playing level the intensity of competition has also increased.  For those few that make it as a Tour pro the journey will have been tough and taken a singular dedication and focus.  For the many that don’t make it, the disappointment will be absolute.  However the golf industry offers many more avenues to success.

At this moment of your young life, critical choices need to be made that have a large bearing on your future. The path that you set out on now may not lead to the original destination. The Sports Academy offers you the opportunity to aspire to your goal yet keep your options and progression routes open through wider learning. We are confident that many paths will open up to you as a result of you participating in our programme.

The Programme

This comprehensive programme has been carefully researched and developed to combine top class golf instruction and the intensity of regular competition with a golf focused general sports education leading to a nationally recognised qualification.

The programme is designed to support you in realising your golfing potential, and enabling you to discover where your own desires and dedication will take you. Our committed and experienced staff will help you achieve those goals, and will offer you guidance and support on a daily basis. Our desire is that you succeed at The Sports Academy and that you leave us having substantially improved your golf game and expanded your future opportunities.
