Winter Training 2009 and TSA full-time in Spain!

In February 2009, The Sports Academy will return to Alhaurin Golf. Having had a very successful winter training camp at this venue last year, the students enrolled on the two-year golf and education programme are looking forward to returning to a golf club that can boast excellent practise facilities and a very challenging course.

The good news is that the scheme is coming full time to Spain. Having been so well received by the staff and members at Alhaurin Golf last year, The Sports Academy Managing Director, Stuart Fomes and Director of Golf at Alhaurin, Rafael Conde-Cruz Roca discussed the possibility of setting up a full time scheme. Since then, an agreement has been reached to commence the project from September 2009.

The Sports Academy will bring its PGA approved plan, covering all elements of golf improvement to Alhaurin Golf. In addition, the clients will be offered an education package to enable them to gain valuable academic qualifications while working on their game. 

The programme will be open to anyone between the ages of 16 - 21, male or female and programmes will be available over a one or two year basis.
